long weekend update

 this is the first time ever (in ten years) that my white nerine has bloomed

I thought I had lost this bulb years ago, but there it was...just a single bloom.

 making some of these cute little families for my next windows at Wyreena in July

and we have this up for sale....

it's my daughters car...

we have just upgraded our car, 

she has bought our old car and now we need to get rid of this one

today is cold and wet, a fitting start to Winter.

and this little guy paid us a visit on Thursday night after a day of rain, 

must of been too wet in the garden for him...

tagged as a size 10

did have a zip, now has a corset style lace up back (see photo)

satin with chiffon overlay

removable flowers on the bodice

bodice is gathered

sequins on straps and flowers

in perfect condition.

has been hand washed, stored in a dust free place

Now the fineprint...

this dress was purchased off ebay last year and worn once by my girl,

 and once by the previous owner who purchased it for $400!

the dress has (I think) been professionally altered 

(although the listing did not say this, I know it has, my girl is a size 10 and this just didn't fit with the zip in it! that's why I took it out)

It is a beautiful dress as you can see by the photos.

Wyreena window update

this is the May window...

hopefully there will be some sales and then some changes will happen.

Well the start to May has been a busy one again!

still haven't written the newsletter! bad me...

Diva turned 18....OMG!

we took her out for bowling and dinner on Saturday...had a great time

next is gettiing her license....fingers crossed!

well off to work to earn some $$$$$$.

things are moving....

today I took a little box of goodies to 

Wyreena Community House 

in Croydon, 

I was showing the lovely ladies there what I make as I wanted to hire one of their window displays...

turns out, someone didn't come for their window, 

and it was offered to me...woohoo!

I now have a lovely little display of softies, sewing accessories, a cute denim bag and a couple of table runners

these will be on display and FOR SALE, 

until the end of April...

so pop on over if you are near and take a look at the wonderful items on sale...

the lady next to me has beautiful jewellery, there are gorgeous wool felted cushions, handpainted silk scarves, lots of different types of jewellerty, hand knitted baby items. 

The displays are ever changing!

oh and there is a great little cafe right in the building...with an excellent playground for littlies
